Dr. Abey Mathew completed his MBBS, MD(Paedia), Neonatology Fellowship(IAP). He is in charge of the 10-bedded level-3 NICU with three ventilators and three CPAP machines which cater to high-risk newborns (preterm twins, triplets) born in-house as well as referrals from peripheral hospitals. The doctor also runs a daytime paediatric OPD catering to common ailments as well as a follow-up clinic that cover newborn vaccination and developmental check up. Management of normal and sick newborn babies including extreme preterm babies starting from 28 week onwards and also term sick babies, Neonatal Resuscitation, All Neonatal procedures including surfactant, PICC line, UVC, UAC, TPN.
