Dr. Muhammed Shereef worked as a Consultant General, Laparoscopic & Minimal Access Surgery at Aster MIMS, Kottakkal. Dr. Muhammed Shereef M graduated with an MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Calicut in 2004. He then earned a Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 2009. In 2011, Dr. Shereef was named the best paper presenter at the Congress of Association of Surgeons of India, Kerala chapter, held in Kottayam. His work was titled ‘Fate of Stapler after Minimally Invasive Procedure for Hemorrhoids (MIPH) – a Prospective Study.’ In his 11-year career, he has become a Fellow of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (FMAS), Fellow of International College of Surgeons (FICS), Fellow of Association of Surgeons of India (FAIS), and also earned Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (FALS).
