Dr. Sunil Kumar U is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Minimal Access (GI) and Bariatric Surgery. His qualification includes MBBS, DNB in General Surgery and Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. This Sri Venkateswara Medical College alumnus is skilled in performing minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgical procedures, with a special interest in laparoscopic inguinal hernioplasty and laparoscopic colorectal surgery. He is updated on the latest trends in the surgical treatment of GI conditions and also in bariatric surgery. As someone who deeply believes in the need to give back to the community, Dr Sunil regularly participates in health camps across the city.
