Hijas K Hamza is a Physiotherapist. He has graduated from the Kerala University of Health Science and post-graduation specialization in Orthopedic Physiotherapy from Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu. He has a Diploma in Football Medicine (from FIFA) and Diploma in Physical Fitness. He has done the Fellowship in Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Sports Rehabilitation from Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. He has a keen interest in sports and orthopedics which lead him to take Certified Dry-Needling Practitioner(C.D.N.P) from Club-Physio, South Africa, and Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (C.K.T.P) from Kinesio University, USA. I am currently the Chief Consultant of the Department of Physiotherapy at Metro Medical Physiotherapy Center, Amballur, Thrissur and MIMS Hospital, Kodaly, Thrissur, and Chief executive officer at Metro Medical and Physiotherapy Centre, Amballur, Thrissur. He consults and treats patients in the out-patient department of the clinic and also in wards, ICUs, and Rehab at the hospital. Services besides taking the consultation and giving physiotherapy treatment to patients who are suffering from Orthopedics, sports, Neurological, Geriatric, Pediatric conditions, and Fitness related problems, he leads the pain management team of the physiotherapy department by providing pain relief therapeutic techniques and modalities, also the administration section at Metro Medical and Physiotherapy Centre.
