Dr. Rajesh Kumar R is a Consultant Pediatric Cardiology at MGM Healthcare, Chennai. His educational qualification includes MBBS from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, MD Paediatrics from Maulana Azad Medical College and Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi, and FNB (Fellowship of National Board) Paediatric Cardiology. Having trained in Pediatric Cardiology wards, Dr. Rajesh Kumar R has exposure in various clinical skills in cardiology and various paediatric cardiac surgeries like atrial septal defect/ventricular septal defect correction, Tetralogy of Fallot repair, arterial switch, Ross procedure, Bentall surgery, valve repair and replacement surgeries. He has also trained in Echocardiography and Cardiac Intensive Care. His educational qualification includes MBBS from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, MD Paediatrics from Maulana Azad Medical College and Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi, and FNB (Fellowship of National Board) Paediatric Cardiology from Madras Medical Mission, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Dr. Rajesh has experience in assessment of patients for heart transplant and postoperative management of heart transplant patients.
