Dr. Ahmed Rizwan CM completed his MBBS, MS (ORTHO), Mch (ORTHO), DORTHO. Fellow in Deformity Correction - Ilizarov, (Russia) Baltimore (USA), NRRA (China). Dr Rizwan, is leading the department of deformity correction and limb lengthening at Heafford orthocare. After completing medical school at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, he completed his post graduation in orthopedic surgery at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Science, Bangalore, and subspecialty training in deformity correction at Ilizarov Centre at Kurgan, Russia in 2017. Dr Rizwan trained in limb lengthening and deformity correction directly with Professor John Herzenberg at Mount Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in 2018 and subsequently in NRRA, Beijing, China with Professor Qin Sihe, in 2019. Dr Rizwan moved to Mangalore in 2008, and working as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Heafford ortho care, in Highland hospital, where he conducts his OPD. Also admits patients in Indiana Hospital, Unity Hospital and Indira hospital. He also serves in Kanachur Medical college as a teaching faculty. Dr Ahmed Rizwan specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric patients with Limb Lengthening: Congenital and Developmental, Post-Traumatic, Post-Infectious, Post-Arthroplasty, Constitutional Short Stature (Cosmetic Stature Lengthening).
